Precautions for using dental low-speed handpieces

Operation method: When using dental low-speed handpieces, follow the method of lifting and pulling up, touch and jog lightly, and avoid lateral force.
‌Air pressure adjustment‌: The working air pressure of high-speed handpieces is generally 0.20~0.25mpa, and that of low-speed handpieces is 0.25~0.30mpa. When using, adjust to the appropriate level according to the instructions.
‌Cutter selection‌: Choose a bur that meets the standards and is not bent or deformed, and avoid using tools that do not meet the standards.
‌Regular inspection‌: The air pressure and water pressure will change with the use of the treatment table. During clinical operation, check the air pressure and water pressure frequently to ensure the normal use of the handpiece.
‌Safe operation‌: Avoid rough operation, touch and jog lightly, avoid falling and lateral force. If the handpiece movement has severe radial swing or longitudinal movement, it is strictly prohibited to use it.
