The dental pulp vitality tester utilizes a machine to generate pulsed current to electrically stimulate the dental pulp. By recording the response values of the dental pulp to the electric stimulation, it can determine whether the dental pulp still has vitality. It ensures the accuracy of the doctor's judgment on the vitality of the patient's dental pulp to the greatest extent.
Contraindications: Please do not use this machine concurrently with high-frequency surgical equipment. Caution is advised for patients with heart diseases. Patients with implanted pacemakers are strictly prohibited from using this machine
Simple Operation
The machine's response speed can be adjusted (by pressing the speed adjustment key, different indicator lights will be displayed corresponding to different speeds: High indicates high speed, Mid represents medium speed, and Low indicates low speed). When the tested person feels a slight tingling or numbness, the numbers on the screen will automatically remain for 3 minutes. This data represents the electrical stimulation threshold of the tooth.
1. The maximum data displayed by the machine is 80
2. If the tested tooth has soreness, numbness, or pain between 00 and 40, it is considered a vital pulp tooth;
3. Partial necrosis occurs within the range of 40 to 80
4. If there is no response by 80, it is a dead pulp tooth
